Ex-Government Trucks & Equipment
The truck sales business owner contacted us with a request to renew and improve his website functionality. We had to work with design, make the interface more user-friendly, develop several functions that help potential buyers quickly and conveniently get the information about goods and make a purchase. The website was developed on JQuery and used technologies and approaches that have become irrelevant today. .NET libraries were outdated for a long time and needed immediate updating.
We started the development process by updating the JS plugins on Frontend. This was the first requirement of the customer since due to the old ones, many errors and warnings appeared in the browser. Then we started integrating the Salesforce system with the customer's website. For the clients, we created a possibility of filling out an application for a loan, leasing directly on the website in the Financing section. Now it is possible to place an application and find out the decision on it within 20 minutes, without going to other sites. To increase the user's stay duration on the site, the following functions were implemented: displaying related products, displaying previously selected products, FAQ, displaying google rating, Google-captcha, and much more. The website was also redesigned using a new mock-up, HTML-layout, and UX/UA design.
The entire development process was targeted to create the most convenient conditions for the client's stay on the site so that they could get all the necessary information here and now and make a purchase decision. And we succeeded!!! A truck is a specialized product. And the person who decides to buy it must be provided with the highest-quality primary service before the manager starts working with them. However, as practice shows, due to the poor quality of the website functionality, a potential client often does not even reach the point of communicating with a manager, which ultimately leads to profit loss and development stagnation.
